As Chief Executive Officer of Duffey Petrosky, Mark has been the of architect the firm’s growth since its founding in 1997. His leadership has earned the agency the distinction of being named one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing companies three years in a row (2008-2010). In addition, his spirit has infused the agency with a culture that resulted in us being named one of the Best Places to Work in Marketing and Media by Advertising Age in 2010. Prior to Duffey Petrosky, Mark was the lead partner in charge of account planning and business development for DiMarco, Cole & Associates, and, before that, he served in various marketing roles at Pepsico and Pfizer. Mark earned a B.A. in Marketing from the Honors College of Western Michigan University.
Bruce was the creative visionary who, together with Mark and Joe, launched Duffey Petrosky in 1997. Since then, he has created award-winning work for clients including Visteon, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Comcast and Chrysler. He is renowned for his clear comprehension of brand marketing issues and their impact on creative strategy. Prior to Duffey Petrosky, Bruce was Executive Creative Director at DDB in Detroit and Chicago, as well as Creative Director on the Anheuser-Busch business at DMB&B in St. Louis. His work has been honored with awards from Clio, Best of Ad Age, the New York Festivals and the London International Festival. Bruce has a B.A. in English from Xavier University and an M.A. in Speech from Patterson College.
Bill got his start in Account Management at Young & Rubicam in New York. There he developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the business issues clients’ face. Bill has been an award-winning writer and creative director for some of the country’s top brands, including Expedia.com, DuPont, PNC Bank, Comcast and many others. Today, Bill manages all the creative development and day-to-day operations of Duffey Petrosky’s creative department. He helps ideas come to life with one objective in mind: to grow our clients’ business. Bill has a B.A. in English from Rollins College.
Jeff leads Duffey Petrosky’s service offerings, including Account, Communications Planning, Strategic Planning and Media, and is responsible for aligning the agency’s capabilities and structure with current and emerging client needs and industry dynamics. Previously, Jeff assisted national brand clients across multiple categories with repositioning and rebuilding brands and delivering integrated holistic communications solutions to increase results. Jeff is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and has pursued continuing executive education at Harvard Business School.
As a founder of the agency, Joe has been instrumental in the growth and operation of the agency since 1997. Currently, Joe manages our Chrysler relationship, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team that creates a wide range of communications for the automaker. Working closely with clients at many divisions within Chrysler, he structured a team relationship between companies that is a model for the industry. Joe also oversees our quality initiatives, including our ISO certification efforts. Prior to Duffey Petrosky, Joe spent 20 years in account services, training and leadership as head of client services with A.R. Brasch and Brasch Tech Data
In her role as Production Director, Carla supervises the daily operations of Production Services and Purchasing for agency-related services including graphics production, digital production, integrated production, advertising specialty production, prepress and proofreading. A 30-year veteran in agency services, Carla is a respected member of the Detroit-area production community. She previously worked as Vice President of Production/Purchasing for Visual Services, Inc., a marketing communications company. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Michigan State University.
For more than 30 years, Roger Gallerini’s efforts on behalf of his clients have enabled them to increase their sales and profits, reduce their costs and streamline their operations. A major brand marketing executive and leader with entrepreneurial experience, his skills have helped grow a number of well-known brands, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Comcast, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Domino’s Pizza, Burger King and McDonald’s. Roger’s expertise extends to creative development and production, event and trade marketing, media and marketing research. He is actively involved professionally, serving as the Executive Director for the Michigan Region of the American Association of Advertising Agencies. Roger received a B.S. in Marketing and Advertising from Ferris State University.
Jo Bourjaily is an award-winning marketing communications professional. She has spent more than 18 years in integrated account management, launching and building brands for General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Fidelity Investments, State Farm, Schering-Plough and MGM-United Artists. In addition to her advertising and marketing services experience, Jo opened, managed and built the Detroit office of Manning Selvage & Lee, one of the largest public relations firms in the world. Her efforts on the launch of the GM MasterCard helped make it the most successful financial product launch in history and netted Jo the prestigious Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Silver Anvil award. Jo graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. from Michigan State and an M.B.A. from Walsh College.
As leader of our strategic creative development process, Sara brings research and consumer insights to bear on Blue Cross Blue Shield and other clients, helping imbue the creative with the voice of the customer. A highly creative brand planner, Sara has 20 years’ experience in developing advertising and creative strategy for clients in the automotive, financial services, CPG, health care and non-profit sectors. She began her advertising career at Leo Burnett and has also held strategic planning roles at Campbell-Ewald, Doner and Team Detroit. Sara studied Graphic Design at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Our Media Director, Paul, is a true media leader. At Duffey Petrosky, Paul leads the media team in all aspects of research, analysis, strategic planning, negotiation and execution. With over 25 years of experience, he combines superior analytical skills with a creative mind that is constantly looking for new ways to reach an audience. Paul’s work is always grounded in research— and his knowledge of traditional, digital and emerging media is inspiring. Since joining the agency last year, Paul has expanded our media capabilities into Direct Response media. Working in conjunction with our Director of Consumer Engagement, Paul has also developed a framework for evaluating traditional and social media on common metrics. Paul earned a B.S. in Marketing from Wayne State University.
Tracie works with our clients to develop strong customer relationship marketing strategies that lead to increased loyalty and improved ROI. She has over 25 years of experience in nearly all facets of marketing as well as loyalty and frequency marketing experience. Tracie and the CRM team are currently managing CRM-related programs and projects for Chrysler Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Greektown Casino-Hotel, La-Z-Boy and Ally. Over the years, Tracie has managed industry-leading programs and developed loyalty strategies for many clients such as General Motors, OnStar, GM Card, Wyndham Hotels, Holiday Inn, Continental Airlines and many others.
Stefan Kogler serves as Duffey Petrosky’s Director of Innovation and Consumer Engagement responsible for the online and social initiatives of the agency’s client. Prior to joining Duffey Petrosky, he served as the executive vice president, director of digital and emerging media at Campbell-Ewald Worldwide. His unique approach to marketing has enabled clients to transition from traditional media marketing models to communicating across the entire spectrum of modern media platforms. Stefan nurtures and sustains an environment of continuous innovation, renewal and alternative thinking in the form of communication insight, modern media marketing and social publishing.
